The qualifying time period for the November 4, 2025 local election ran from August 18, 2025 through August 20, 2025. Three people qualified to run for two council seats (Tommy Arnett, Lorraine Hoover (incumbent) and Thalia Yanez). This is an at-large election by plurality vote.
The Lake City election will be conducted by Clayton County Elections and Registration (770 477-3372).
Advance voting will begin on October 14, 2025 and end on October 31, 2025.
